Kudos and referrals
How members recognize each other with kudos and earn points by inviting friends.
Some of the best points come from the community. Members can cheer each other on with kudos, and bring new supporters in through referrals.
Kudos
Kudos are a quick way for members to recognize each other. A member sends kudos from another member's profile or from the leaderboard.
- You earn a point for each different member who sends you kudos, up to 3 a day.
- You can send kudos to several members each day.
Kudos are a thank you, so the limits keep them meaningful rather than a way to farm points.
Referrals
Every member has a personal invite link. When someone joins through it and takes their first action, the member who invited them earns points.
- A member shares their invite link.
- A new supporter opens it and signs up.
- The new supporter completes their first action within 14 days.
- The member who invited them earns 50 points to collect. A Successful Referral card appears on the campaign page, with a line saying someone new joined through their link.
The new supporter earns points the normal way, from the actions they take.
Referral points count toward that campaign like any other points earned there. They put the member on the campaign's weekly leaderboard and move its progress bar, even if the member hasn't taken an action themselves.
If the new supporter does not take an action within 14 days, the referral does not mature, so encourage that first action early.
