Points and levels
How members earn points, level up, build streaks, and rank on the leaderboard.
Points are at the heart of Organiz. Members earn them by taking part, and points decide levels, leaderboard spots, and what members can redeem.
Earning points
Members earn points from completing actions, plus a few other ways to stay engaged.
- Checking in for showing up.
- Streaks for coming back day after day, with bonuses at day 3, 7, and 14.
- Referrals for bringing in new supporters.
- Kudos from other members.
- Sharing campaigns and actions. Members earn a little for sharing, and more when someone takes action on what they shared. There is a daily limit on both so it stays fair. See Sharing and earning.
- Campaign bonuses when a campaign hits a weekly milestone.
A daily limit keeps earning fair across all of these.
Completed actions
You decide how many times a member can complete each action. Once a member uses them all, the action leaves the list. This works the same everywhere members find actions: campaign pages, your organization's page, and pinned actions on other members' profiles. It keeps each list focused on what the member can still do. An action a member can complete more than once stays in the list until they use the last completion.
Members still see their own pinned actions after finishing them, so they can unpin them. There the action dims, gets a check mark, and its points label changes from the amount, like "+50 PTS", to Earned.
Members can reopen a completed action from a shared link to it. The top of the action shows what it was worth, like "50 points earned". Forms such as petitions, RSVPs, and sign ups can't be submitted again.
Two ways points show up
Members see points in two places.
- Campaign points are what they have earned within a single campaign.
- Points available is their spendable balance across your whole organization. This is the balance the reward store uses.
Spending points in the store lowers the available balance only. It never lowers a member's level.
The weekly campaign goal
Each campaign has a shared weekly goal bar. Every action members take adds to one team total that resets each Monday. As the team crosses each step of the goal, the campaign levels up and active members can collect a bonus. The goal adjusts each week to match how active the campaign has been, so it stays a fair target as the campaign grows.
When a team blows past the full weekly goal, the bar turns gold and enters overdrive. The level keeps climbing past the top, so the most active campaigns always have a next marker to chase. Overdrive pays a small flat bonus for the first few extra goals banked in a week, on top of the regular tier bonuses. It is meant to be rare, a reward for a campaign that has a big week.
Collect your bonus in time
A tier bonus is there to be collected, not banked forever. Each one stays collectable for 48 hours after the campaign reaches that step. If a member does not log in and collect it in that window, it expires. This is on purpose. It gives members a reason to come back and check in. A member who misses one has not broken anything, they just miss that bonus, and the whole bar resets each Monday anyway.
Levels
Levels run from 1 to 5 and reflect the total points a member has earned. They show on the member's profile and never go down, even after redeeming rewards.
Leaderboard and streaks
The leaderboard resets every week, so new members always have a fresh chance at the top. A crown marks the week's leader. Streaks reward members for coming back each day.
The reset lands at midnight Pacific time on Monday. If you are in a different time zone, the board may still show last week's results a few hours into your own Monday. A short message lets you know when a new week has started. A member's total points and level are never affected by the weekly reset. Only the leaderboard and the campaign goal bar start over.
Each campaign's leaderboard also has an All-Time tab, next to the weekly one. It ranks members by everything they have ever earned on that campaign, and it never resets. If you have been contributing for months, this is where that adds up and stays visible, even during a quiet week.
How your group compares
Some organizations run the same program across several groups, such as states, chapters, or teams, and give each one its own campaign page. When yours does, a line appears under the weekly goal bar naming your group and where it stands, like "California is #2 of 5". Select it to open the full standings. You can also open them from the line at the top of the organization's profile.
Groups are ranked on the points they earned, most first. Opened from a campaign page, your own group is marked. Groups that have not earned anything yet are listed separately under "Quiet this week" rather than being hidden.
Each ranked group also shows the members who earned it the most points in that view. Select anyone to open their profile, where you can follow them or send kudos.
There are two views. This week compares the current week only. Last 3 weeks pools the current week and the two before it, so one unusually good or bad week matters less.
The standings only appear when your organization has labeled pages for two or more groups.
