Analytics
See how many people visit your campaigns, what they do there, and how that compares with the period before.
The Analytics tab shows how your campaigns are doing over a period you pick. Every number is compared with the same length of time just before it.
Step by step
- Open Analytics in the sidebar.
- Pick a period, like Last 30 days. If you run a hub, you can also pick which organizations to include.
- Read the cards at the top. Next to each number, a pill shows how it changed since the period before: up, down, or New when there were none before. A grey pill with a funnel is a share instead, like the conversion. Hover over a pill to see what it means. Under it is the number from the period before. Hover over or tab to the ? next to a card's name to see what it counts.
- Check the Activity chart for busy and quiet days.
- Select a campaign in Campaigns to see its own numbers and each of its actions.
- Check By action type to see which kinds of actions people finish. It lists every kind of action on your campaigns, even ones nobody has used yet.
- Select Export CSV to download everything on the screen as a spreadsheet. It starts with the dates it covers, the dates it's compared with, when the figures were last updated, and whether your admin team is included. Then comes a summary of every card, with the period before and the change, then activity over time, each campaign, each kind of action, the visitor funnel and retention.
How current the numbers are
Analytics opens from the most recent figures it has, so the screen shows up quickly. Figures for a period that runs up to today are checked again every few minutes. The visitor funnel and retention are checked every hour, and a period that ended before today once a day.
When the figures on screen are a few minutes old or more, you'll see a note like Updated 12 minutes ago next to Export CSV. If it adds Newer figures are on the way, the screen swaps them in by itself in a moment. You don't need to reload.
If a section says it couldn't load, the analytics service was busy. The screen tries that section again on its own for about two minutes, and the rest of the screen stays as it is. If it still can't load, reload the page.
Your admin team
Analytics leaves out your own admins by default, so you see what your members did, not your team testing a campaign. Organiz staff who help you are left out too. Turn on Include your admin team, next to the period, to count them. Your choice is remembered on that browser, and the CSV says which one it used.
An admin is recognized once they've opened the admin panel. After that, their visits are left out whenever they're signed in to the member app, including their earlier visits on the same device. That includes anyone who used that device signed out before them, so on a shared device, like a tablet at an event, have admins sign out when they're done. Visits while signed out on another device can't be told apart from anyone else's. Members are never identified to the analytics service, only admins.
The Weekly level of a campaign always counts everyone. It's the level the campaign actually reached that week, the one members saw.
What the cards mean
- Unique visitors is how many different people opened your campaigns.
- Sessions is how many separate visits they made.
- New members is how many people made an account after first visiting one of your campaigns. A second pill shows that number as a share of unique visitors.
- Completions is how many times members finished an action, like signing a petition or RSVPing to an event. A second pill shows the conversion, explained below.
- All actions adds up everything members did: actions finished, check-ins, kudos given, rewards redeemed, reactions, shares, pins, follows, quests finished, chat messages, livestream comments, tier bonuses collected and squad bonuses collected. Photo and video posts that earned points (remixes included) and Text a Contact taps are already counted as finished actions, so they aren't added again. It leaves out points, new members, referral sign-ups and badges, since nobody took an action for them. If member activity can't load, the card shows a dash instead of a total with parts missing.
Member activity
These cards count what members did on your campaigns. They sit in four groups, each with its own heading. Export CSV lists them in the same groups.
Showing up
Members coming back and keeping their streaks going.
- Check-ins counts daily check-ins in your organization. On a campaign, it counts check-ins made on that campaign.
- Members who checked in counts how many different members checked in. Someone who checked in on several days counts once.
- Quests finished counts quests members completed.
- Badges earned counts badges members earned in your organization. Lifetime badges, which aren't tied to an organization, aren't counted.
Spreading the word
Members bringing their campaigns to new people.
- Shares counts times members shared one of your campaigns or its actions from Organiz.
- Share link visits counts visits to your campaigns through a member's share link. One visit counts per visitor, per member, per campaign, per day, and visitors who aren't signed in count too. Visits through your admin team's links are left out unless you include the team. It isn't part of All actions, since a visit isn't something a member did. Counting started when this was added, so earlier visits aren't included. We don't store anything about the visitor.
- Referral sign-ups counts people who made an account through a member's link to one of your campaigns.
- Contacts reached out to counts the first tap on a channel (text, call or share) in Text a Contact. A contact a member later removed from their list still counts, and so do contacts on an action you deleted.
- Pins counts campaigns and actions members pinned to their profiles.
Community
Members talking, posting and cheering each other on.
- Chat messages counts messages in your campaigns' chats. It counts from October 2026 onward.
- Livestream comments counts comments members wrote on your livestream actions. Removed comments aren't counted.
- Reactions counts reactions on members' photos and videos, on livestream comments, and on messages in your campaigns' chats. Chat reactions count from October 2026, when they started being recorded.
- Kudos given counts kudos given on your campaigns' leaderboards and your members list. Kudos given from someone's profile aren't tied to a campaign, so they count for the organization the receiver first joined through.
- Follows counts members who followed your organization in the period and still follow it. If a member unfollows, the follow is removed.
- Uploads counts photos and videos members posted, including ones later hidden or removed. Remixes aren't counted here.
- Remixes counts posts members made by remixing someone else's photo or video, including ones later hidden or removed.
Points and rewards
Points members earned and what they spent them on.
- Points earned leaves out points you add or remove by hand. It counts points from September 20, 2026 onward.
- Rewards redeemed counts rewards members redeemed from your store.
- Tier bonuses collected counts the weekly campaign tier bonuses members collected.
- Squad bonuses collected counts squad bonuses collected by the members who recruited others. Each campaign and week counts once per collector, on the day of their latest collect that week.
Social Toolkit
When members use a Social Toolkit action, the org, campaign and action screens show a three-step funnel:
- Opened the toolkit counts people who opened it.
- Tapped a platform to share counts people who tapped a platform. A pill shows them as a share of the people who opened it. A tap shows intent, not proof the post went out.
- Confirmed they shared counts people who said they posted. A pill shows them as a share of the people who tapped.
Each step counts people, once, so a step can't pass the one before it by being repeated. The section is hidden when nobody used a toolkit in the period or the one before it. Your admin team is left out like everywhere else on this page.
Partner posts
When members use a Social Toolkit action that points to a partner's posts, the org, campaign and action screens show a second three-step funnel next to the Social Toolkit one:
- Opened a partner post counts people who opened it.
- Clicked through counts people who clicked through to the partner's post. A pill shows them as a share of the people who opened it. A click shows intent, not proof they engaged.
- Confirmed they engaged counts people who said they engaged with the post. A pill shows them as a share of the people who clicked through.
Each step counts people, once. The section is hidden when nobody used partner posts in the period or the one before it, whether or not the Social Toolkit section shows.
Where visitors come from
This section counts people, not page views. City and State show where in the US your visitors are, like "Lawrence, Kansas" or "Kansas". Places outside the US also name their country. Country, Source (the site that sent them) and Device are there too. Locations come from each visitor's internet connection, so treat them as approximate.
The Source tab also shows:
- Members' shared links: how many people arrived through a link a member shared from Organiz, and their share of your visitors. It doesn't say who shared.
- Campaign link tags: visits from links you tagged with
utm_source,utm_mediumandutm_campaign, like?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=fall-push. Tag the links in your emails, ads and posts to see which ones bring people in.
Each campaign's numbers
Select a campaign in Campaigns, or open Analytics in the campaign's builder, to see the same numbers for that campaign alone. It has its own member activity in the same four groups, with the new members who first visited that campaign at the start of Showing up, and its own visitor funnel and retention. Rewards, follows and badges earned aren't there, since they belong to your whole organization. Points earned are counted for each campaign from October 2026.
Weekly level
A campaign levels up each week as members earn points on it, and starts over every Monday. The Weekly level chart shows, for each week in the period, the points members earned next to the points the next level needed. The table below it lists each week's level. A week that reached no level shows None.
The points a level needs follow the campaign's recent weeks. A busy campaign needs more points to level up than a new one, so the mark moves from week to week.
By action type
This table groups your actions by kind, like petitions, events or links. For each kind it shows how many are on your campaigns now, their clicks and completions, and the conversion. Actions you've removed still count toward their kind for the period they were up.
Visitor funnel
The visitor funnel groups new visitors by the week of their first visit to your campaigns, for the weeks in the period you picked. People who first visited before the period aren't included. For each week it shows how many visited, then the share of them who:
- clicked an action
- completed an action
- completed 3 or more actions
- came back in another week of the period
A big drop between two steps shows where people stop. For example, many clicks but few completions can mean an action is too long or confusing.
Retention
Retention uses the same weekly groups. Week 1 is the share who visited again the week after their first visit, Week 2 the week after that, and so on. Weeks that haven't happened yet are left blank. Pick a longer period, like Last 90 days, to see more weeks.
Conversion
Conversion is completions divided by clicks. It's on the Completions card, and for each campaign, each action and each kind of action. A low conversion means people open an action but don't finish it. That can point to a long form or a confusing step.
Conversion can go above 100%. Some actions count each time they're done, like each contact in Text a Contact. A member can also open an action straight from a shared link, which skips the click.
All time has nothing to compare with
When you pick All time, the cards show no comparison, since there's no earlier period.
